Life Verse:
Many years ago when I was going through a tough time in my life, God revealed Isaiah 40:31 to me. God impressed on my heart about waiting on the Lord and gaining my strength from Him. Because I am an Auburn fan, I love eagles. But, even more than that, I think about the strength they have, and how I, too can “fly like an eagle” if I give to God my cares and worries. He wants to be the “wind beneath my wings”.

“Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:31
