Student Weekly Schedule

Hi, my name is Eric Sexton and I am the student minister here at First Baptist Gadsden. Being a teenager is tough. There are so many distractions in the world and students are desperately trying to fill the void that is in their life. The only thing that will fill that void is Jesus.

The purpose of our student ministry is to bring teens into a real and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this through studying God’s word, worship, and a sense of community with each other. But, we don’t want to learn about God only, we want to be His hands and feet, whether in Gadsden or another part of the United States.

Student Weekly Schedule

Sunday School

Our Sunday School is a time of fellowship and learning more about what it means to be a Christian. It is a study time that will help students in their daily walk with God.

Sunday Night Bible Study

On Sunday nights we have small group Bible Study. We are looking at who Jesus was and is and how that applies to our lives. We also have a snack supper immediately after.

Student Worship

This worship time immediately follows New Voice Choir on Wednesday nights. This is a time for students to come together and sing, hang out, and grow closer to God through the study of His word. We look at the Christian life and the Bible and strive to see how it applies to our lives.

5:00 pm Supper
5:30 pm Choir
6:15 pm Youth Worship
