First Baptist Church will be exactly 160 years old on August 23, 2015, and we invite you and your family to worship with us that day as we commemorate a milestone in our continuing mission of being a lighthouse for Christ in the Gadsden community.
Pastor Rev. Mat Alexander will welcome former pastor Dr. Harrell Cushing to present the sermon that day in a very special worship service, and afterwards we will have an old fashioned “dinner on the grounds,” during which we will consecrate the ground upon which our new Welcome Center will soon be constructed, invoking God’s blessings in prayer.
